Nola Ade’s: positive energy is express through her music

Meet Nola Ade. Nola is positive energy that expresses herself through music! She loves to love and loves to see and put smiles on the faces of people that she can reach. She’s a bit more complex than that, but in a nutshell, that is who she is and who she strives to be! On April 19th, Nola will be dropping another single called “Good To You.” Mark your calendar and check it out, along with her other music, all of which can be found on iTunes, Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify, and other similar streaming platforms!

“The duality in which I was raised definitely plays a huge role in the way I make my music and the way I look at the world. My household was 100% Nigerian, and in the Chicago streets I learned completely different lessons. I understand the struggles and triumphs of both cultures, and I know that definitely made me more open to different types of music I wanted to hear and make. My worldview was expanded in general because of it. I believe that nothing is impossible, with a little hard work and faith. And it’s with that same optimism that I approach my own music. And how sweet is it that I could merge the sounds of soul and afrobeats together and have it sound good – that is the essence of who I am and the music I represent!”

“Yes! New music is coming sooner than you think. I will actually be dropping another single on April 19th called “Good To You.” I’m excited to let everyone hear this track! And there will be way more music and video content that follows that release. Please check it out, along with my other music, all of which can be found on iTunes, Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify, and other similar streaming platforms!”

“I love the energy of Hyde Park, especially during the summer with the festivals! I think it’s cool that so many people can come together and just be positive and have a good time. I love the diverse people and businesses. I love the unique food spots. I just absolutely love the fact that Hyde Park has developed so much culture over the years, a culture that promotes the arts and togetherness.”

“Wow, there are so many amazing spots I could name – depending on what you need in Hyde Park. I could recommend a few places. But because of the sweet tooth that I have right this instance, I would recommend Fabiana’s Bakery – their cupcakes are mouthwatering!”

“I’m so proud of my parents! Without them, I would not be where I am today, with the opportunity to enjoy other proud moments in my life and career. My parents have been through so much in immigrating from Nigeria to make a life for us here in the States, and I don’t take their sacrifices for granted. I am proud of their huge accomplishments – started from the bottom now we’re here!”
